This statement clarifies ScoutLine's role and what we do NOT do.
What ScoutLine Does
- Provides a platform to discover basketball talent
- Displays verified player profiles
- Facilitates communication between players and coaches
- Verifies player information with scouts
What ScoutLine Does NOT Do
ScoutLine is NOT a sports agent and does NOT:
- Take a percentage or commission on any recruitment, transfer, or NIL deal
- Take a "cut" of any money flowing to a player
- Negotiate contracts on behalf of players
- Provide legal representation or advice
- Sign contracts with players
- Collect fees from players or coaches
Players Must Use Licensed Agents
If you are a player seeking professional representation:
- Work with a licensed sports agent
- Ensure your agent is certified in your country
- Have a written contract with your agent
- The agent should provide legal advice on contracts
